Blogging & Reading Goals

Most bloggers make blogging goals at the beginning of a new year. My biggest goal this year is to get back to blogging, but I’m not going to rush myself. I have more important, time-consuming activities to attend to with baby Gage arriving soon. However, blogging is important to me and I want to make it a priority when life settles down into a routine. I will create a schedule that works for me, and hopefully use my lunch break at work to help with time. Lawd knows time will not be my friend when I’m home with mountains of baby clothes and cloth diapers to wash, a child stuck to my boob, and other household duties. I’m going to try to use this time off work before the baby arrives to get things in order, but who knows how well that will go, with my nesting instinct (read: organizing, cleaning fool) in overdrive.

I’ve always been able to read at least 100 books every year since I started blogging. In 2013, I only hit 77. I’ve set my goal to 75 , but with a new baby, who the heck knows how realistic that is. I can’t imagine not reading every night before sleep (which is really my only time to do it), but since night and day will run together for a while, and I will sleep deprived, who knows how well that will work.

Now, here are some series/books I would like to tackle this year. I’ve even set up a little list in Goodreads, so let’s see how close I can stick with it…
