Lets Talk Lets Talk: Welcome to the Family + GIVEAWAY!

Originally hosted by Melissa from i swim for oceans, Smash & Kt took her original inspiration, and made it their own, expanding it to more than just books. Let’s get personal (but respectfully so) and learn more about one another! Each week, a different question will be posted along with a place to link up your posts and visit other people’s responses. This meme is definitely meant to bring out conversation and meet new people. So, Let’s Talk!

Today’s Question:

If you could be part of one fictional family (book or screen), what family would you choose, and why? Would you choose to be a current family member, or a new one?
This is ridiculously hard. I immediately think of Harry Potter. I’d like to be caring smarty-pants Hermione, of course, but I woulnd’t mind just being a new character and tagging  a long on adventures. As long as I get to ride Buckbeak, hangout with Sirius and bitch slap Malfoy a few dozen times!
I kinda wouldn’t mind being Maddie in the Awaken series, either. Justin Solvi is high on my list of incredible male characters. One of the most respectable, glorious, amazing book boys evar. I want to be part of his life, be the person that has so deeply affected him, be the person who has awakened his own closed-off heart…*sigh*

    1. My brain instantly went to HP. But in all fairness, I’m re-reading HP and the Goblet of Fire right now, so I’m allllll about the Weasley family right now.

    2. Also I submitted some topic ideas, I hope I didn’t accidentally repeat any ideas! I checked the list, but I’m a bit sleepy, lol.

    3. I didn’t do a post this week. Too lazy to have 2 posts up today. But I immediately went to the Weasley family. They are so warm, loving, & goofy.

    4. Felicia says:

Oh gosh–I don’t know! I think I would like to be part Harry Potters world. Maybe I could be Tonks long lost sister or something :)

    5. Ok, I’ve been absent from these discussions for the past couple of weeks, but I’m back! ;) I couldn’t pick just one so you’ll just have to stop by my post as see who I picked.
I’ll have to see what the rest of the scheduled discussions topics are. One of mine has already been used, but I may have a couple more ideas rambling around in my head worth sharing.

Harry Potter is definitely on the top of my list. The other would be the shifter “family” from the Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews. I finally contributed some question ideas! :)

    7. My first thought was HP too…I see from the comments that’s a popular one. Kudos to JK Rowling!
