If you could be any animal (real or mythical), what would it be, and why? Get creative here!
AN OWL!
I’m being so serious here, though. Owls symbolize intelligence, wisdom and mystery. In some cultures, they are associated with mysticism and magic. Overall, they rock! But, if I couldn’t be an owl, I’d be my other favorite animal, the dolphin. Dolphins are so playful and appear to live a carefree life. They symbolize community, harmony and generosity Plus, they spend their entire lives frolicking in the ocean, which is a fascinating and scary environment!
If you want to get mythical, I think being a hippogriff, particularly Buckbeak, would rock. Also, a Phoenix, such as Fawkes, would kick ass too!

A gryphon! Why? Well that would be Thea Harrison’s fault. I have my eye on a certain Gryphon shifter!

I would choose a Phoenix because they can heal and they just rebirth themselves from their own ashes once they get old and die. Totally cool!!

Okay, it’s complicated, but I think I want to be a cave lizard from the Forgotten Realms series. Why, you ask? Well I’ll tell you: I had this dream once that I was working in a lab on my college undergrad campus when the school was attacked by ninjas. Oh noes. And in the dream, I turned into a stegosaurus with a boppy boppy tail and I was hanging from one of the eaves in the corridor, bopping ninjas with my tail.
Now, I know what you’re thinking. Audrey, you’re thinking, don’t eat cheese before bedtime. The other thing you might be thinking is that your garden stegosaurus cannot hang from ceilings. But cave lizards can! So I believe, I would get the best of all possible worlds as a cave lizard. Also would get to live in the Underdark in or near Menzoberranzan.

I think this needs to turn into a book of sorts, that’s what.
Well, cave lizards feature in several FR Underdark books, so there’s that. Are you thinking more along the lines of ninja-fighting stegosaurus books? Because I’d be so down for that.

Yes, I don’t know what I’d want to be more…an owl or a dolphin. So, I’m in total agreement there. My other answer would be a cat, because they just don’t care!
