In the life of Smash
- I had training two days this week to learn the ins and outs of my duties as site coordinator. I feel wicked energized by it all and really hope I can get things moving at the school. It’s difficult to meet with people during the school day, and a lot of people don’t want to stick around after. So, challenges already but that’s expected. I am slowly starting the needs assessment process, and figuring out who will be on my site team. It’s all very exciting!
- I got this cool little one-cup coffee pod brewer for my office. It’s so cute and will help with the mess factor. A lot of people have been asking for the brand, and I will have to get back to you on Monday, since I can’t remember!

- T & I went to a Georgia Tech game yesterday. I love being able to walk to the stadium. YAY for living in Midtown!
- I’ve been reading hella slow. HELLA slow. I’ve also found I have little interest in the internet when I get home…WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME?

That coffee machine is so cute! Sounds like you’ve had a busy busy week
Looking forward to the first Let’s Talk post next week.
Have a good one!
It’s been an interesting week! I hope you enjoy Let’s Talk. Thank you so much for joining. ♥
I’m super stoked to be part of the team! Let’s do the damn thing.
Yahooooooooo! ♥♥♥
YAY JEN! I have greatly missed her presence around the blogosphere, so I am happy to hear she is returning.
I hope your reading picks up soon! It’s no fun when you want to read, but don’t have the energy/motivation/whatever. =/
YAY JEN! I’m happy that I didn’t have to resort to begging…lol
Yea, maybe I do need a break. I’m actually quite surprised how uninterested I am in the internet when I get home from work. VERY unlike me. Maybe it will pass…
I’ve missed my bloggy homies too! Can’t wait to get back in the mix. =)
Sometimes educational types don’t like to stay on their time and it has made me sad for years. Me thinks they need remember why they are doing what they do OR get out. Now on the same note, sometimes our time has been wasted and that is why some are so jaded.
I almost caved to the local Scholastic Book Fair, but I am trying so hard not to spend any $ this month. I had to keep reminding myself that I’ll be working the warehouse sail soon…be patient.
Coffee and Happy Owls are a must on the job.
Coffee and Happy Owls! My office is full of that. lol
I’ve only been at the school a week, so people are still learning who I am and what I’m doing there. I will be dragging out their thoughts, whether they like it or not! The jaded thing effects many, in my occupation too!
I bought one book, to support the school! Right? Anyone…?
I have GOT to get going on Jenny Pox. I’m pretty sure I even have it on my Nook. And everyone RAVES about how good that series is – seems like every week I have someone else tell me how good it is. Thanks for the reminder! lol
They are a lot of fun and wicked interesting. You just might enjoy yourself!
Yay for a new reviewer, but sad you had to lose one.
I love your little coffee maker! If I get hired as a permanent employee at the library (maybe sometime in the future?), I may buy them a Keurig. Everyone needs fresh coffee!
I’ve been busy the past week and a half and have had the same internet issues as you … I need a plan to do internet things in the morning so I get things done. I neglected my favourite blogs for too long! Being busy really drains a person.
