When Brianna from The Book Vixen approached me with her wicked cool idea, I was stoked. You see, she’s read the first two books in the Elemental Assassin series by Jennifer Estep, and I’ve read the first three. Needless to say, WE ARE HOOKED! A light bulb went off for Brianna and BAM! READ-A-LONG!! Holla!
So far, there are 16 works in the series; 7 full length novels (the 8th novel is being released on 3/26/2013) and 9 novellas. For this read-a-long, we’ll be focusing on the full-length novels. We’re going to read one book a month and hold a discussion at the end of each month, leading up to the release of the 8th book in this series – Deadly Sting. [If you are interested in the novellas, they can be found on Jennifer Estep's website. I fully intend to indulge during this journey. ]

Well darn Smash! I’ve had Spider’s Bite in my virtual shopping cart on Amazon for months and now you’re gonna force me to break down and buy it.
Honestly, I’ve been wanting to start this series for a while now and this was just the push I needed. Thanks to you and Brianna for hosting!
I’m trying to think if I have time to keep up with this while I’m in school and having so many review books to read. I might just sign up my email for the updates and see how it goes.

You’re at least a step ahead of me Alexa. I don’t even officially have the first book yet. It’s been in my shopping cart on Amazon forever though. Not that I need to get wrapped up in another series, but this was a perfect opportunity to start it.
Well I’ve been on an UF kick lately and so I knew I had to try the Elemental Assassin series so that is why I bought the first four books where I could find used copies for cheap. Now Smash is going to give me a real reason to actually read them instead of them just collecting dust on my shelf lol.
I hope I can keep up with all of this read-along, I hope we both enough the books and I can’t wait to see your thoughts on the first one. Once you order it from Amazon
