TGIF TGIF & Lets Talk: 6/8/12

Hosted by GReads!

This Friday’s Question:

Cast Your Own Story: If you could use existing characters from some of your favorite books to create a new story, who would be in it?

This is ridiculously fun but hard as hell! In all honesty, I’d like to take Khalil and Tiago from Oracle’s Moon, Jace from The Mortal Instruments, Bones from Night Huntress, Z, V and JM from BDB, Jamie Frasier from Outlander, Sinnder from Just Breathe trilogy, Acheron from Dark-Hunters, Martini from planet A-C, Dimitri from Vampire Academy, Chase from The Protector series, Jericho Z. Barrons, and Strider and Aeron from LOTU (phew! *wipes sweat off forehead*), create some kind of male-harem with me as the head mistress. Of course, this book would be personal and I bet I’m making you all think TMI! TMI! right now, which is making me LOL my ass off. icon smile TGIF & Lets Talk: 6/8/12

That is pretty much the perfect story, in my mind, but if you want a serious answer (Geez! You’re so boring! It’s freaking Friday, yea!) than I might have to take Jenks from The Hollows, Oberon from the Iron Druid Chronicles, Jace from The Mortal Instruments and Strider from LOTU and put them on some sort of road trip to find some ancient artifact that brings people back from the dead. There would be some serious snark fests and the trip would involve a lot of pit stops with some fun action scenes, because of course, they are being followed by the Poofs from Gini Koch’s books who want to have them for dinner. Of course, once they find this ancient artifact and use it, they realize it brings back people from the dead as undead, and now zombies roam the earth. These zombies have gills too, so not even the fish are safe. *shakes head* This book does not end as good as the other, peeps!

I know you have some good ideas. Let’s hear em.

    1. Lol – wow that’s a lot of favorite authors :-) Seriously, to cast my own book of characters was seriously

    2. This is one of those question where you get really excited and then realize it’s actually quite difficult, but it looks like you’ve got an interesting mix together! My favourite authors are probably Tolkien, Carlos Ruiz Zafon, Amos Oz, Emily Bronte, Jane Austen, oh too many! Hop on over if you have the time,

Ash! hahaha I love your story you came up with :) You may think the second one is boring, but I would totally read it! haha

    4. Male harem! That would be perfect. I’d like one of those, too, please.

    5. Kt says:

*Blinks* Can I borrow the harem?

    6. I love your man-harem idea! I almost put something similar. The “serious” answer would be awesome as well especially with Strider along for the ride.
