My Goals
- READ!
- Ok, here’s a more detailed response: READ in between looking for a place to live and a job to do in Atlanta, coordinate moving logistics, begin to clean and pack up current place, as well as mingle with in-laws who are in town for T’s graduation. Easy, right? :/
Books To Read
Daily Updates
5/14
Currently Reading: Above by Leah Bobet
My progress today: I finished The Last Bastion of the Living by Rhiannon Frater. I started it before the read-a-thon, but hell, it counts, right? It’s a pretty epic read and I will be reviewing it for Rhiannon’s blog tour in June.
Current Mood: I am really tired from my weekend of family and fun. Now I have tons of chores to do and need to start packing. I’m exhausted.

Currently Reading: I had to put Above by Leah Bobet aside for now. The writing is so irritating, even though I love the world-building. I started In the Path of Falling Objects by Andrew Smith but I only got 70 pages read today. It’s good! I will continue reading Dead of Night by Jonathan Maberry, too. Maberry is the man!
My progress today: I had a ton of errands and chores, and did not get much reading done. I completed the mini-challenge.
Current Mood: Tired and busy as hell, but hopeful.

Currently Reading: In the Path of Falling Objects by Andrew Smith and Dead of Night by Jonathan Maberry
My progress today: I read 130 pages of Path and only 2% of Dead of Night. I finished the free Divergent short called Free Four! These read-a-thons never quite work out how I hope they do…I completed the mini-challenge today.
Current Mood: BUT I WON’T GIVE UP!

Currently Reading: Dead of Night by Jonathan Maberry and Abandon by Meg Cabot. THANKS to Bout of Books Twitter Chat last night, I learned about Overdrive. I downloaded Room by Emma Donoghue to listen to while packing.
My progress today: I finished Path in the late afternoon and started Abandon in the evening. I pretty much devoured half of Abandon into the early morning. I will finish it Friday, no doubt. Room in audio is annoying but after a while, I got used to it. I do have the paperback too, so I can pick up where the audio leaves off at any point.
Current Mood: Emotional and exhausted.

Currently Reading: Room by Emma Donoghue and Oracle’s Moon by Thea Harrison.
My progress today: I devoured Abandon. Thank goodness I have Underworld! But I decided to start Oracle’s Moon instead. I am wicked glad I did. I am LOVING Khalil, as expected. I read 70% of the book yesterday. I refused to stop reading until I go some horizontal bop action, or in this instance, some vertical floating action, Word! I completed the mini-challenge today.
Current Mood: Tired and crampy. A perfect day to lay in bed and READ!

Currently Reading: Room by Emma Donoghue and Underworld by Meg Cabot.
My progress today: I finished Oracle’s Moon. Good LAWDIE! *fans self* I am also happy that many of you enjoyed the book poem challenge. It IS challenging, but great fun too.
Current Mood: In a GREAT mood. I’ve read some really fantastic books this week! Also, I saw The Avengers again last night, and I pretty much need to marry Tony Stark. His sarcasm and snark SLAY me!

If anyone can pull off the multi-tasking brilliance it will take you to make it through this week and get reading done—it would be you!
I am seriously in awe of you!
Good LUCK!
Why, thank you! I will put my skills to serious use!
Good luck! Considering how busy you are, you’re doing great so far
I should be doing those busy things though…lol
Oooh I want to know what you think of Ashes, Ashes!!!
Ive heard EPIC things about Bastion so far dude!! I hope to start it this week!!
Holy cow, Ashley! Bastion was REALLY good! Serious action, dude!
I see zombies, lots and lots of zombies!
Looking forward to your review of The Last Bastion of the Living.
Good luck with your juggling
I have to get my zombie fix!
I finished Shine last night (actually, very early this morning) so I don’t have to read any more this week right? I mean, what’s gonna measure up to that? LOL! I think I need to recover from that before I start City of Lost Souls.
I’m going to read your review right now, and yes, it is hard to top it!

Yep, I think if I have to pick a favorite, it will be Shine. I’m pretty much positive that CoLS won’t top it either. Listening to an audio book while packing is a brilliant idea!
Oh to be able to lay in bed and read. *sigh* Today I’ll sneak it in when I can. Happy Friday!
There is nothing else I can do with the way I feel. Books will be my savior today! Happy Friday!
Woot! Look at you! Four books down!
Room was kind of odd. It took me a while to get used to the POV. The story itself was easy to get hooked on, but I feel like the ending disappointed me
Congrats on your 5 books!! That’s awesome
I have no clue what to expect from the ending at this point. It will be 6 books because I will finish Room today!
